This morning in the paper I came across the word, squee. Squee, I thought to myself…what a great word! I quickly, and efficiently, I might add went to www.dictionary. com and entered my new found word.
I thought it was going to mean delighted or squeal with delight. Didn’t happen.
My thrilled turned to disappointment as I read -not a word, do you mean, square, sew, skew, see or squeaky?
No, I really meant squee.
I also found out the Yay is Yay! and not Yea! I hope my friends knew what I really meant all those times I enthusiastically replied Yea!
